Tiles and Tides, A Stay to Remember
The resort's lush gardens offered a beautiful backdrop for relaxation, and the dedicated shuttle drivers made moving around the expansive property quick and easy. I found the peaceful atmosphere inviting.
However, our swim-up suite felt cramped due to sharing the lazy river with another room, limiting our enjoyment. Additionally, handling dinner reservations was tricky, with limited buffet options leading to a frustrating dining experience.

The rooms at El Dorado Royale Catamaran were spacious and had a nice setup. The mini-bar was stocked well and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The cleaning staff kept everything tidy and fresh. The pools were fantastic, especially the swim-up bars for a quick drink break. I enjoyed lounging around the beautifully manicured gardens. The breakfast spread had excellent variety, and the ocean view while eating was stunning. But, the food during dinner was hit or miss. Sometimes it felt pretty bland, especially at the buffet options, and some entrees were undercooked. We had trouble with dinner reservations too, running into issues with limited seating. The staff at the restaurants seemed overwhelmed and not very accommodating. On one evening, I ended up waiting a long time for my meal and when it arrived, it was cold. Another annoying thing was the long wait for the golf carts to get around the expansive property. it felt frustrating at times. Overall, a mix of great amenities but with noticeable service issues. Definitely could improve dining quality and response times for requests.
